
When Tiana Tozer is not wrecking havoc in her own little corner of the world, she is the disability and gender programs Manager for Mercy Corps in South Central Iraq. Don't worry she is based in Kuwait. When not working, she is trying to keep up on her blog, looking for new adventures and writing her memoir. She writes about disability incidents, wheelchair basketball, growing up on a farm, traveling in Bosnia after the war and family. Her stories are based on real life experience, because truth
is stranger than fiction.
After surviving the childhood trauma of handmade underwear and a car crash when she was 20, she became a member of the USA Women's Wheelchair Basketball team. She helped the USA bring home the silver from Barcelona and the bronze from Atlanta. She holds five national titles in her sport. In 1997, she was selected to travel to Bosnia to teach veterans of the war wheelchair basketball and raise awareness about people with disabilities and the landmine problem that plagues the former Yugoslavia.

ds of audiences across the United States, distinguishing herself as the only Jostens' female speaker who is not a former beauty queen and doesn't sing or dance. Tiana shares her personal story of recovery and acceptance. She talks about the unimportance of physical looks, emphasizing the importance of actions and behavior.

She is an avid reader and she loves to ski and travel. She grew up on a farm in Boise, Idaho where she acquired the little known and even less appreciated skill of hypnotizing chickens. Her hometown of record is Portland, Oregon.
